Adult Engagement
Temple Sinai's Adult Engagement Committee invites you to learn, explore, and connect with your fellow congregants. Our programmatic year promises to be both enriching and exciting. Here is a preview of some of our upcoming events. We looking forward to seeing you at Temple Sinai!
Early Childhood Center
Just as every child’s learning profile is unique, we also recognize the diverse childcare needs of every family. Whether you are looking for a full-day experience for your child, a part-time opportunity to enhance social skills, or something in between, TSECC has an engaging and meaningful option for your family.
Religious School
Jewish education at Temple Sinai is designed to deepen one's Jewish experience and knowledge in order to strengthen faith in God, love of Torah, and identification with the Jewish people. We want our children to grow up with a sense of what it means to be a Jew, be comfortable participating in a prayer service, and to have positive feelings about their Jewish identity.
Special Needs Programs
Temple Sinai embraces children and teens with special needs and their families. Through our varied programs, families within our congregation and in neighboring communities have the opportunity to provide their children with meaningful Jewish learning. It is our honor to include all families and children in the Jewish learning process.
Teen Programs
Temple Sinai of Roslyn's teen program has dozens of ways for teens to get involved! Our programs run the gamut from cooking classes to charity fantasy football leagues, from leadership and advocacy training to volunteering to with children from homeless shelters and just about everything in between. More than 130 teens join us regularly to enhance their Jewish education, to repair the world, to feel connected and to spend time in a safe and welcoming environment. In addition to our weekly or monthly programs, we have amazing trips and single-day events.
Teen Travel Programs
Temple Sinai is proud to provide to provide our teens with immersive Jewish travel experiences that help them solidify their personal connection to Judaism as well as accomplish the mitzvah of tikkun olam, repairing the world.
